At 21, he left Florida for Reno, NV where he fell in love with the west coast. Brian attended University of Nevada, Reno for Creative Writing & Culturual Studies where he also tutored for the University's Writing Center, and was recognized for his outstanding academic achievements and published several times.While working as a Writer and Curator for ReGen Magazine, Brian rediscovered his passion for music and decided to meld it with his journalistic tendencies. In 2021, Brian launched his own pirate radio show/podcast, Void Signal. Void Signal has gone on to be performed LIVE at Mechanismus Festival, just recently turned 3 years old, has 100+ episodes, and has featured interviews with HEALTH, Stabbing Westward, IAMX, Dance with the Dead, and dozens more.
